"Error while updating item_model_mapping table for.." messages filling up the Spectrum OneClick tomcat log

Issue/Introduction

The following error is filling up the $SPECROOT/tomcat/logs/stdout.log (Windows) or catalina.out (Linux) file on the OneClick system.

May 01, 2020 10:23:03.460 (pool-3-thread-1) (NetqosSyncLog) - (ERROR) - Error while updating item_model_mapping table for MH : 0x4cc6ab, error-message : 0x4cc6ab: The model does not exist.

 

Additionally, OneClick performance can be affected.

Environment

Release : Spectrum 10.4.1

Component : SPCOCK - Spectrum OneClick

Resolution

This issue has been addressed in the 10.04.01.PTF_10.4.120a patch. 

Note that SPECTRUM 10.04.01 and 10.4.1_BMP_10.4.101b are the prerequisites for the installation of this patch.
