Issue/Introduction

Following an IPL error message id "OPS3264S Resource initialization manager (CAIRIM) not started" is issued in OPSMAIN.

Environment

Release : 14.0

Component : OPS/MVS

Cause

This occurs when OPS/MVS initializes and goes through it's LMPKEY validation before the CAS9 CAIRIM component has completed the license key process.

Resolution

The best way to avoid getting this message is to have CAS9 start OPS/MVS.
CAS9 will validate the keys first before the Broadcom product initializations.

Additional Information

Note OPS/MVS rechecks the licenses internally later . This can also be actioned by issuing the command "F OPSS,LMPCHECK" after CAIRIM completes.
