TDM Listener Refused the connection - ORA -12514,TNS: Listenet does not currently know of service request connection descriptor - on DataSubset

Issue/Introduction

We are trying to make the connection in the Subset of Testa DataManager in an Oracle database. We successfully connect the data maker with the database, it resolves the tns connection, but when connecting in Subset Design Extracts and Transaction, we received this error:

Listener Refused the connection - ORA -12514,TNS: Listenet does not currently know of service request connection descriptor

 

Environment

Release : 4.6

Component : CA Test Data Manager

Cause

Customers Oracle instance only takes SID and not Service Name. TDM requires Service Name

Resolution

DataSubset and Portal require Service require Service Name.

Please work with your DBA to get this resolved
