Set default values for WIP Class and Investment Class on Project

Issue/Introduction

I have all the Financial Management Defaults set, but when I create a project, WIP Class and Investment Class don't populate. We are then having nulls in the PAC_MNT_PROJECTS table

Environment

Release : All Supported Clarity releases

Component : CA PPM FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

Resolution

The Financial Management Defaults do not seem to work to copy WIP Class and Investment Class to the Projects. For Project you will have to enter a Default value via Studio on the Object - Attribute for both WIP Class and Investment Class. This will work well and avoid you from having nulls.

 

To correct the null values now you will either have to use XOG or a SQL update statement (which is a customization).
