Unable to find windows 2008 server security roll patch in ITCM Patch Manager.

Resolution

Microsoft has announced Windows 2008 is EOL in January 2020. Microsoft will stop published security patches for this OS . If you have Windows 2008  Extended support with Microsoft , You can download  CA - Microsoft OS Extended Support Update - Security Rollup v2004.00. in patch manager and install on your widows 2008 machines . It will fail to install if you dont have Extended support contract. 

You can Purchase an extended security update subscription for your servers and remain protected until you're ready to upgrade to a newer Windows Server version.
These updates are provided for up to three years after the end of support lifecycle date.After the three year period of extended updates, we'll stop updating for Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2
Broadcom Content team will publish these Extended support patches every month . 

This is the patch for the month of April 2020: CA - Microsoft OS Extended Support Update - Security Rollup v2004.00

This package is a special CA Patch Manager patch designed to install Extended Support patches for Windows 7 SP1 , Windows Server 2008 SP2 and Windows 2008 R2 SP1 with just one reboot.
