Does TDM more than 1 Portal server connected to the gtrep repository

Issue/Introduction

We are wondering if TDM supports two or more TDM Portal servers to connect to a single GTREP repository database? We are about to request a load balancer, and need verification that this architecture is supported.

Resolution

We only support 1 TDM Portal per gtrep repository. If you want to have more than 1 Portal server, it will require each Portal server to have its own repository. Then you would have to figure out how to synchronize the data between repositories. We have may customers with multiple TDM environments, such as Production, QA, and Test. We even have some that have more than 1 Portal server per environment, but I don't know how they are synchronizing the repository databases, or if they actually are.
