Issue/Introduction

Project is throwing error while copying task from template
Alert: Invalid or no object data found.
Error: PRJ-10002: Copy project WBS failed.

Cause

  1. Logged in to the PPM – Opened the project.
  2. Clicked on Tasks and deleted the existing tasks
  3. Clicked to “Copy tasks from template”
  4. Searched the template ID
  5. Clicked to “Next”
  6. Selected Tasks
  7. Clicked to “Copy”


Getting the below error:
Alert: Invalid or no object data found.
Error: PRJ-10002: Copy project WBS failed.

Resolution

There is a Baseline for this project which you have to remove by going to project Properties->Baseline
