ADFS 2.0 compatibility for SDM 17.1

Issue/Introduction

We have recently upgraded SDM from 14.1 to 17.1

In our Bank environment, SSO is implemented using SAML 2.0 utilizing ADFS 2.0

Please clarify ..

1. Whether ADFS 2.0 is compatible?

2. If not, how ADFS 2.0 can be used for SSO implementation for SDM 17.1 ?

Environment

Release : 17.1

Component : SERVICE DESK MANAGER

Resolution

# ADFS 3.0 is currently supported as it can be configured on Windows 2012 R2 and above. 
# ADFS 2.0 is not compatible as it is configured on windows 2008 which is not supported for SAML2.0
