Issue/Introduction

There is a requirement for IXP to authenticate using Active Directory .

Are there any plans underway to include that in next version of IXP ?

Resolution

The LDAP authentication is an alternate authentication mode for users logging in to the iXp GUI.

It enables iXp to authenticate users' login credentials through an external LDAP server.


iXp supports the following LDAP servers:

Micro Soft Active Directory 

Novell eDirectory

Sun ONE Directory
