Issue/Introduction

The recently released video "How To Create DX NetOps VPN Health Monitoring Dashboards" referenced Certifications not present in the currently available Performance Management releases.

Resolution

The Metric Family, Vendor Certification and Component XML files required for import to the Data Aggregator are attached to this Knowledge Base article.

The recommended process for installing them is using the Certification Installer. Its documented here in standard product documentation. Go to the "Use the Vendor Certification Installer" section of this documentation page.

Create or Extend Vendor Certifications

More information on that process can also be found in the Knowledge Base article "How to install On-Demand Certifications for CA Performance Management".

Download the files to the server the certification installer will be run on. Can be any system with ability to access the Data Aggregator host. Point the installer to the certification files in the attached zip file.
