Unable to import SP metadata

Issue/Introduction

Trying to import new remote metadata but observed the below error:

Error: Exception trying to extract entities from metadata.

Tried reimporting the below files and restart the policy server after that.

XPSDDInstall SmMaster.xdd

XPSDDInstall FedObjects.xdd

 

XPSImport smpolicy.xml -npass

XPSImport default-fedobjects-config.xml -npass

But still observed the same error.

Tried below as part of troubleshooting.

Import other metadata and still facing the same error.

Import this metadata in other and it's working fine.

Manually created an SP Entity and it worked fine.

 

Environment

Release : 12.8.03

Component : SITEMINDER

Resolution

Kindly find the below link document and refer check page " 8 " where we have clearly mentioned that we need to have AdoptOpenJDK 1.8.212 (or later updates on 1.8.x) 64 bit with 12.8 SP3 version Policy Server.

- Kindly find the below document link and upgrade your JAVA.

- Kindly make sure and use " AdoptOpenJDK " 1.8.212 (or later updates on 1.8.x) 64 bit only.

- Kindly take the snapshot of the existing environment before making any changes so that we revert it If needed.

Also, suggested customer to follow below document to resolve metadata Import Issue.
