Failed to XPSImport data from 12.51 to 12.8 policy server during upgrade

Issue/Introduction

During upgrade the New 12.8 Policy from 12.51, error message returned during XPSImport.

Resolution

From the Import log, Notice the below information :

[20265/139767536412480][Mon Apr 20 2020 14:57:57][Database.cpp:723][InitDB][INFO][sm-xpsxps-03460] No validation warnings will be logged (controlled by CA.XPS::$LogValidationWarnings).


[20265/139767536412480][Mon Apr 20 2020 14:58:03][Validate.cpp:490][ValidateClass][WARN][sm-xpsxps-03233] CA.SM::[email protected](): Required attribute CA.SM::SAMLv1SP.Name is not set.

Based on the warning, i see the attribute is not been set. Verify if there is any "orphaned object" based on the XPS ID and if you find the orphaned object, delete the same if not in use and see if the import works.
