Issue/Introduction

Project Tiles display "On Track" badge when no Status Report exists on project. Every Project created in MUX states "On Track" although there isn't any Status Reports

Or the Status reports are not being used and you would like to remove the Overall Status badge

Environment

Release : All Supported Clarity releases

Cause

This is by design. Every time you create a new Project in MUX, a Status Report is automatically created on it. The Overall Status on Status Report is where the badge is coming from

Resolution

Disable the display mappings on Overall Status on Status Report

  1. Go to Objects - Status Report - Attributes
  2. Select Overall Status
  3. Scroll to the bottom and take a screenshot of the Display mappings and save it as a backup
  4. Remove the Display mappings for all selections (Set them back to Select, including the Default color bucket)
  5. Save

Note:

  • This will remove the badge from the Tiles and also the mappings in Classic UX
  • This will remove the colors from the fields if you add them in Project Grid, however you can leverage conditional formatting to add them back

Additional Information

Alternatively, Leave things as they are and instruct the users to ignore this value

There is also an option to change the calculation of the attribute Overall Status on Status Report to something that's a negative value and does not fall within the mappings. This is an example of how would this be done:

This only removes the colors, and does not remove the badge from all the tiles, so the preferred option would be to remove the Display mappings all together.
