Issue/Introduction

How can we run Roadmaps Sync on a Matching Custom Attributes and get data updated? 

Environment

Release : All Supported Clarity releases

Component : CA PPM PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Resolution

The following steps should work as long as we pick a supported datatype:


1. Create an attribute called blatest on object Project
2. Lookup - Project Approval with ID RPT_PROJECTAPPROVAL
3. Add API Alias blatest
4. Save, add it to the views
5. Now go to any project, set any value for this lookup, save
6. Now go to Objects - Roadmap Item
7. Create an attribute called blatest1 on Lookup - Project Approval with ID RPT_PROJECTAPPROVAL
8. Add API Alias blatest
9. Save
10. Open New UX - Roadmaps
11. Create a new Roadmap, import the project above
12. Now Sync the items, including Matching Custom Attributes
13. Open the Roadmap Grid view
14. Now add blatest1 to the view as column
