Issue/Introduction

Identity Manager provides a set of pre-configured default and sample reports that can be used or customized to meet specific organizational reporting requirements. These reports cover administration, auditing, billing, and system snapshot data.

Resolution

The default reports are located in the following directories based on the database type:

• MSSQL: C:\Program Files\CA\Identity Manager\IAM Suite\Identity Manager\tools\imrexport\ReportDefinitions\IM Standard Reports\Ms-SQL Reports
• Oracle: C:\Program Files\CA\Identity Manager\IAM Suite\Identity Manager\tools\imrexport\ReportDefinitions\IM Standard Reports\Oracle Reports

Available Reports and Definitions

• Account Details: Lists account templates associated with provisioning roles, endpoint types, endpoints, and accounts.
• Administration: Displays administrators and their entitlements. Can be filtered by specific role names.
• Audit - Assign/Revoke Provisioning Roles: Lists all provisioning role-related events.
• Audit - De-Provisioning: Lists users and accounts that have been deprovisioned.
• Audit Details: Tracks user activities with filters for date range, initiator, and subject user.
• Audit - Pending Approval Tasks: Lists tasks currently awaiting approval.
• Audit - Reset Password: Lists password reset activities for a specified duration.
• Billing Report: Displays all registered users associated with a specific tenant.
• Endpoint Accounts: Displays accounts filtered by a specific endpoint.
• Endpoint Details: Lists all endpoint types, endpoints, and their attributes.
• Non-Standard Accounts: Displays orphan, system, and exception accounts.
• Non-Standard Accounts Trend: Shows trends for orphan, system, and exception accounts over time.
• Orphan Accounts: Lists endpoint accounts that lack a corresponding global user in the Provisioning Server.
• Policies: Displays all identity policies.
• Role Administrators / Members / Owners: Displays specific relationships for roles in the report database.
• Snapshots: Displays all exported system snapshots.
• Task Roles: Shows tasks and their associated roles.
• User Account / Profile / Entitlements: Displays detailed user-level data including roles, groups, and account sync status.

Required Account Attributes

To ensure data is captured correctly in account-related reports, ensure the following attributes are exported:

• Standard Reports: endpointName, createDate, createTime, updateDate, updateTime.
• Orphan/Non-Standard Reports: Include the above plus exceptionAccount and ensure the Export Orphan Accounts checkbox is selected during export.
