Spectrum OneClick WebApp not accessible using a Big IP loadbalancer after upgrading to 10.4.1

Issue/Introduction

The customer was not able to access the OneClick WebApp through a BIG IP loadbalancer after upgrading to 10.4.1 A HTTP 404 error was returned after upgrading to 10.4.

Environment

Release : 10.4.1
Component : Spectrum OneClick

Cause

In 10.4, the Spectrum WebApp URL changed from http://localhost:9443/spectrum/oneclickwebapp to http://localhost/spectrum/WebApp. This was causing an HTTP 404 error when trying to access the OneClick WebApp in 10.4.1 through a BIG IP Load Balancer.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to:
    http://server:9443/spectrum​
  2. login with spectrum/spectrum credentials.

  3. Click on the Manage Link.

  4. Click on config and change the Main Arguments to:
      "-host localhost -port <oc-port> -ssl <true/false> -contextPort 43000 -compress 9"​

    Note
    : remove the quotes in main arguments.

  5. Navigate to the top of the page and select "Apply".


You will now be able to access the 10.4.1 OneClick WebApp with the following URL:

http://localhost/spectrum/oneclickwebapp
