Spectrum Notifier sending out old alarms

Issue/Introduction

The primary SpectroSERVER was stopped and the secondary SS took over. We have seen instances in which the AlarmNotifier will send old alarms when connected to the secondary SS but usually when the primary SS starts back up.

Cause

There is a timing issue in the code with the way the connection to the Notifier connects to the SpectroSERVERs.

Resolution

This is resolved by modifying your Notifier .alarmrc file and add the following entry and restart your AlarmNotifier process:

ALARM_DELAY_THRESHOLD_CONFIG=TRUE
