Disable "flashy logo" screen at startup

Issue/Introduction

You have a new operator running VM:OPERATOR. When it initializes, it momentarily scrolls a big "VM OPERATOR" across the screen.

None of your current operator machines do this - probably there is a local mod to disable this.

You would prefer that this is also disabled on the new operator machines - so the look and feel is the same for the personnel running the systems.

 

How do you disable this?

Resolution

To get rid of the "flashy logo" at VM:Operator startup, edit the MAINOPER CONSOLE file and comment out the PROCESS VMYLOGO statement:
