Upgrade from UIM 8.51 to 9.02 failed ith an error on the java_jre

Issue/Introduction

Attempting to upgrade our UIM to v9.0.2 from 8.5x,  prior to the upgrade of v20.1.
All checks passed, install completed OK... but during the "Starting UIM Server" step of installer received an error (will provide error log 'uimserver_ia_install.log'.

From the installer logs we saw the following:

Cause

There were corrupt archive packages in the <nimsoft>\archive directory

From the distsrv log:

Environment

UIM 9.x,20.x

Resolution

Make sure that all forwarding is disabled on the distsrv probe.
Stop the robot service
rename the <nimsoft>\archive folder on the primary hub to <nimsoft>\archive old
create a new directory called <nimsoft>\archive
Start the robot service
run the installer.
