Windows 10 Enterprise for Virtual Desktops being misidentified by SEP for Windows client and SEP Manager

Issue/Introduction
Customers utilizing Windows 10 Enterprise for Virtual Desktops are noting that the SEP client and SEPM are incorrect when reporting the Windows Operating System information.
In the SEP for Windows client under Help > Troubleshooting > Computer, the Operating System may be displayed as "Windows Unknown".
In the SEP Manager under Edit Properties, the Operating System may be displayed as "Windows Server 2016" or "Windows Server 2019". This misidentification may also appear in any SEPM Monitors or Reports output that displays the operating system information.

Windows 10 Enterprise for Virtual Desktops SEP for Windows Client (14.0+) SEP Manager (14.0+)
Cause
The Windows 10 Enterprise for Virtual Desktops is a variant of the Windows 10 operating system that has some shared features and identification with Server 2016/2019 and is not a standard Windows 10 client.
Resolution
Symantec is currently reviewing this issue and will be addressing in a future version of the SEP for Windows client and SEP Manager software packages.
