Issues when modifying Standards checks in CCS

Issue/Introduction

I keep getting error messages saying that characters I am trying to use are not supported, however, I am not trying to use unsupported characters. 

Environment

Release: CCS 12.6.x

 

Cause

When copying a predefined standard or importing a standard, the checks could contain illegal characters. 
We do allow illegal characters in predefined standards, however they are not allowed in custom standards.

Resolution

After copying a predefined standard/check or importing a standard. 
And you want to modify the check name or description, there may be illegal characters already present. 
You will need to remove those in order to successfully make any changes and get those changes to save.
