Issue/Introduction

After a tomcat restart, The Topology Data Store configuration is no longer using the proxy password configured to make requests and failing to connect. The customer is seeing "Access Denied" error messages in the catalina.out file. 

Cause

There is an issue with the proxy password configuration in the Topology Data Store configuration. After a tomcat restart the proxy password is not being passed in the requests. Also going in and changing the password will write to the wartopo-config.xml file proxy password incorrectly causing Authentication Failure messages in the catalina.out file as well.

Resolution

This issue is resolved with PTF patch 10.4.009. The Topology Data Store proxy password is now saved correctly and will persist after a server restart.
