OPMS server shows errors after reboot

Issue/Introduction

Restarted an OPMS server to perform some OS updates and some checks are failing:

(-95) Checkpoint did not return status, full response: 'Checkpoint Error: 503 Service Unavailable. Database connection error: Error 2 connecting to unix socket: /var/run/redis/redis.sock. No such file or directory.'

 

 

Environment

Release : 10.1

Component : CA APP SYNTHETIC MONITOR (WATCHMOUSE)

Cause

Per Engineering, the "503 Service Unavailable: database connection" error is most likely caused by the services dependent on Redis getting started before Redis itself finished starting 
or  the UNIX Socket service may not running.  

Resolution

Starting the UNIX socket Service which was set to "manual start" solved the issue.
