The Windows Agent does not start

Issue/Introduction

The Windows Agent does not start with the following error message in the Service Manager:

20200414/104203.503 - U00022008 Could not start process 'win01'. Error Code '193'.
20200414/105830.615 - U00022019 Client statement: process 'win01' should be started.


Also, if you double click on UCXJWX6.EXE, a pop up error message saying that this application is not compatible with the server.

Cause

Possible causes

1) The issue could be related to the permission of the user who started the agent.

2) It could be a corrupted installation package of the Windows agent.

Resolution

-Please download again the installation package of the Windows agent

-Please make sure that the Windows system user who starts the Service Manager has the following Windows system permission:

• Act as part of the operating system
• Adjust memory quotas for a process
• Allow log on locally
• Back up files and directories 
• Logon as batch job
• Logon as service
• Replace a process level token
• Restore files and directories
