Jboss EAP Domain Mode do not take JVM Options and System Properties

Issue/Introduction

Upgrade our Agents from 10.3 to 10.7 doing the following steps:

Modify server configuration in JBoss Management Console, 

Change JVM options modify the path to the new Agent.jar

Remove System properties and add the new keys with the new values of path to the agent profile

Restart the JBoss App Server.

We find that the Jboss App Server is still using the old path of agent configuration.

 

Environment

Release : 10.7.0

Component : APM Agents

Cause

We find that App Server was killed, and did not use the Management Console to shutdown the App Server. For this reason the new config did not get saved in the App Server.

Resolution

Use the Management Console to restart the App Server. This will save the configuration in the local server.
When the App Server starts again, it should load the new APM Agent configuration successfully.
