Type of Backup Needed to Resize CEM Datacom/AD Database

Issue/Introduction
If I need to resize a CEM database in Datacom/AD, do I specifically need to restore image backup, a native sequence backup, or will either work? I plan on taking both types of backups in our scheduled backup job.
The documentation implies it doesn't matter but I want to be sure.

Resolution
In the CEM doc for Backup for Recovery the doc states to start the muf with a physical backup.
In the CEM doc for Backup for Reorganization the doc states to start the muf and shutdown CEMWHSE and/or CEMMON for the native backup of Data Warehouse and Monitor. This means shutting down task during the backup which is not a good plan of action. There is defrag and reorg jobs documented if necessary.
Documentation is going to be changed to only include the physical backup and will remove the reference to Native Key Backups and Backup for Reorganization for Data Warehouse, Monitor and Data Mart.
