Issue/Introduction
In earlier editions of Service Desk, the Change Order "effort" field was found to be truncated. The given field was originally 2000 characters, but in later releases, the field size was reduced to 900 characters.

Resolution
The change in the schema, on table Change_Request's "effort" field which reduced the field from 2000 characters to 900 characters, was part of a fix for defect DE52222. In this defect, a problem was found in which under certain conditions with a given Change Order's effort field, it was not possible to create a given Change Order. The solution was to reduce the field size that was defined in the schema.
