Issue/Introduction

Entity MiB is not discovered on Fortigate Firewall models in Spectrum

Environment

Release : 10.3

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Cause

The EnableEntityoduleModeling attribute id 0x12e5f is set to No on the Fortigate Firewall models

Resolution

To resolve the issue:

1. Log into OneClick

2. Search for and delete the ENTITY-APP model associated with the device model if present

3. Search for and select the Fortigate Firewall model

4. Click on the Attributes tab

5. Find and select the EnableEntityoduleModeling attribute id 0x12e5f and set the value to Yes

6. Right mouse click on the Fortigate Firewall model and select Reconfiguration -> Reconfigure SNMP MIBs

7. Right mouse click on the Fortigate Firewall model and select Reconfiguration -> Reconfigure model. This should create the ENTITY-APP application model.

You may have to log out of OneClick and then log back in.

You should now see the Entity View subview for the mode.
