Receive S-001 Abend when starting JMR task.

Issue/Introduction

Running JMR Version 4.6 GenLevel 0309. Receiving S001 abend at startup. Was working previously.

z/OS Release 2.3.

Resolution

When using SMS to handle DAILY file allocations, be sure the SMS routines are allowing the DAILY file to be created based on the JMR options specified.
The SMS class defined should match options. If not then the DAILY file will not be able to be opened and the S001 OPEN error will be generated by the operating system before JMR can issue any internal messages
