Issue/Introduction
You may have several versions of Endpoint Encryption Removable Media Encryption (RME) installed in your environment. If you need to find out which client machines have which version installed, you can create a custom report.
Environment
Release : 11.3 and above.
Component : Symantec Endpoint Encryption
Resolution
Please do the following to create a custom report showing the versions of Endpoint Encryption Removable Media Encryption in use:
Open Symantec Endpoint Encryption Manager from the Endpoint Encryption management server.
Click on Symantec Endpoint Encryption Reports and expand it.
You will see Custom Reports at the end of the list:
Right click on Custom Reports and choose New Report.
The Query Editor page opens. Click Save.
Save the report with an appropriate name such as RME Versions.
Right click on the report name and select Configure Columns Displayed.
The default columns will be selected. Deselect these columns:
DRIVE ENCRYPTION COLUMNS.
REMOVABLE MEDIA ENCRYPTION COLUMNS.
Select the following columns:
Last Check-In.
RME Version.
RME Installation Date.
Note that Computer Name is not in the list but will always appear as the first column.
You will see a report like this. Click on the Export button to export the report to a CSV file. However, please refer to article 174789 in order to resolve formatting issues with the CSV file:
