Issue/Introduction

On startup of DCDCONTL. the following error is seen in the log:

DCD2533I DCD Controller - ESM Callable Svc Req=R_dcekey-get SAFRC=0 RC=8 RSN=20
DCD2534E DCD Controller - DCEKEY length out of range, Max=230, Actual=24

Component : CA DATA CONTENT DISCOVERY

Resolution

If not using the default of DCDCONTL for the DCDCONTL started task ID, in the FEYDCEKP job, ensure the value of 'DCEKEY_DONOR_USERID=', is the same value specified in the FEYRACF Job when creating the DCE Profile Record for the DCDCONTL started task.

Also, edit the following members:

OEM.CADCD.V30.CFEYOPTN(FEYQPARM)
OEM.CADCD.V30.CFEYOPTN(FEYQPDCM)

and change the following:

DCEDUSR(DCDCONTL) to DCEDUSR(xxxxxxxx)

Where ‘xxxxxxxx’ is the RACF ID created for the DCDCONTL started task

Then start DCDCONTL.
