Cloud Workload Protection

This Cloud Workload Protection (CWP) update is about a change in the single point of contact (SPOC) server URL.

The recommended agent versions are:

  • Windows Agent: or greater
  • Linux Agent: or greater

What is happening?

To enable your CWP agents to receive notifications from the cloud server, a new SPOC URL has been introduced:

The existing SPOC URL continues to be functional until May 4, 2020:

What do I need to do?

  1. Ensure that the existing SPOC URL is whitelisted on your firewall, and you additionally whitelist the new SPOC URL for new agent enrollment. If both these SPOC URLs are not whitelisted, your CWP agents might not receive commands from the cloud server.
  2. Upgrade the existing agents to the latest agent version by May 4, 2020. If the agent is not upgraded by this date, agents will continue to be protected. However, any new server command (Policy Apply, AV Scan, Software Discovery, etc.) to the agent will be delayed by 1 hour.
