Issue/Introduction

 

I wanted to install CA Common Services for MVS version 15. I go the the Chorus "Products" tab and expand the "CA Common Services for z/OS - MVS". Over to the "Actions" button on the right, I select "Update Product Release" and it does its processing and finishes successfully. Then I select "15.0" under the "CA Common Services for z/OS - MVS" (expanded it) and then select the "0000" under that. This shows me three thing:

DATACOM/AD 15.1 0000 PROD INFO PACKET

DATACOM/AD PROD INFO PACKET

I do not have anything that I can install.  

Environment

Release : 6.0

Component : MSM PRODUCT ACQUISITION SERVICE

Resolution

Look under settings, system settings, software acquisition in the Acquisition Options section and uncheck CA MPS Usage if you have it checked off. Click apply to save the change.

Also look under user settings, software acquisition for the CA MPS Usage option. Be sure it is not also checked off there.
