Unable To SSH To Gateway 10 AMI Install

Issue/Introduction

After launching a gateway 10 AMI install we are unable to ssh to the gateway.
Using putty we receive the following:

Network error: Connection Refused

Environment

Gateway 10 AMI

Cause

Our gateway 10 AMI does not currently work on all AMI instance types.

Resolution

Please try to launch a gateway 10 AMI using another instance type from what you currently have configured.

The following instance types have been tested and are working successfully.

t3a:  medium
t3: medium
m5: large
m5a: large
m5d: large
c5d: large
c5: large

The following instance types have been tested and are not working:

t2: medium, large
m4: large, xlarge
c4: large, xlarge
