Issue/Introduction

Clarity fails to open on chrome. You see a blank or white screen. The issue is isolated to just the Chrome browser on one system. It works fine in parallel on Internet explorer and the Chrome browser on another machine.

Chrome trace also shows the JS modules loading for a long duration without completion. Chrome browser trace reveals error:

ext.min.js:1 Uncaught Error: Load timeout for modules: uif/js/clarity_main_min

No Clarity side or environmental side issues are found. The App logs and app-access logs looks clean for all sessions.

Cause

This can be related to a caching issue

Resolution

Clear your Google Chrome cache. See steps at: Clear browsing data

If the above doesn't help, clear your temp cache:

  1. Open command and type: %temp%
  2. Delete the contents of the TEMP folder.
