Issue/Introduction

When attempting to add a CSV User Data Source and specifying the location of the CSV file. The form returns an error stating the file can not be found, or it is not a valid file path.

Resolution

Place the CSV file in the plugins directory of the Enforce Server.

Windows:

  • <drive>\Program Files\Symantec\DataLossPrevention\EnforceServer\15.X\Protect\plugins\
  • <drive>\Program Files\Symantec\DataLossPrevention\EnforceServer\16.X\Protect\plugins\


Linux:

  •  /opt/Symantec/DataLossPrevention/EnforceServer/15.X/Protect/plugins
  • /opt/Symantec/DataLossPrevention/EnforceServer/16.X/Protect/plugins

 

Then fill in the Add User CSV Source fields in Enforce console and click Submit to complete the required action.
