How to change the login for a user, from its resource ID to the resource's email address?

Environment

Clarity PPM 15.x

Resolution

The login field of the user in Clarity PPM is the one configured as the "User Name".

If this needs to be modified, it can be done via the UI.

1. Go to Administration => Resources.
2. Select one user for which you would like to do the changes (a test user).
3. The properties will display the list of attributes for the resource.
4. Modify the "User Name", from its current value to the email of the user.
5. Now, the login of the user will be the corresponding configured email address on its "User Name".

Additional Information

For bulk updates, it would be possible to use XOG.
