Resource Manager is unable to see Propose Button in Requisition

Issue/Introduction

  • While creating Requisition, if we select a Booking Manager and then we log in with the Booking Manager, we are unable to see Propose Button.
  • What access is required in order to see the Propose button?

Environment

Release : All Supported Releases

Component : CA PPM SAAS RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Resolution

Step 1. Check to ensure the user has one of the below Access Rights:
  1. Soft or Hard booking rights 
    • Note: User will have to click on the Requisition to see the propose button.
    • From the requisition list, they won't see the Propose button, but will see the Book button.
OR

     2. Project - Create/Edit Requisitions
    • This can be granted at instance, OBS or global level
    • It allows the users to see the Propose button from both the requisition list and requisition
    • The right allows a user to:
      • Create new requisitions
      • Edit existing requisitions
      • Delete requisitions
      • With this access right, if you also have the Project - Edit rights, then you can also accept requisitions.

Step 2. Check the Requisition Status to make sure it is in Open Status
  • The user with appropriate access right should see the Propose button once the requisition is in Open status.
  • It won't display for the requisition if the status is "New".
