Issue/Introduction

Sending a large 500 MB zip file from a a Windows server to another Windows server using an XCOM z/OS node. The upload to z/OS Works fine. But when performing the second part of the automati  (indirect) transfer, the following message is displayed:

XCOMM0723E XCOMABC B37-04 84 DCB ABEND EXIT ENTERED

XCOMABC is the TYPE=DEST with WRITER=XCOMABC.

XCOMTMP is the PSOPREF parameter.
PSODISP=DELETE

Smaller files run fine.

Cause

It's failing trying to unload the spool entry into a temp dataset.
The PSOI module doesn't use allocation values in the DEST member.
This is the way the product works; not a bug

Resolution

Override the default file allocation settings (ALLOC, PRI, and SEC) globally.
