Portlets are displaying system errors

Issue/Introduction
We have a few portlets that are showing Error: System Error. Contact System Administrator. Will not allow us to update them.

Cause
SQL error code: 1422
Error message: [CA Clarity][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-01422: exact fetch returns more than requested number of rows

Resolution
Issue was caused by custom attribute which we had to remove from the audit trail for an issue object.
