Issue/Introduction

After upgrading DB2 from V11 NFM to V12 without updating the CDBAPARM(SETUPXX) member to reflect that DB2 release change, CA Database Management Solutions Main Menu Shows DB2 VERSION AS V12R1M100. The data collector address space is referring to it as DB2V11. How is this possible?

Environment

Release : 20.0

Component : DB2 Common Components

Resolution

The tools are printing the Db2 live values on the Db2 tools main menu panel. Db2 function level V12R1M100 is a logical equivalent to V11 NFM. That's the reason, the tools are allowing the following two set of values, in the SETUP member for V12R1M100.
SSIDVERF (V12R1M100)
SSIDVERC (V12R1M500)
or
SSIDVER (V11)
SSIDMODE (NFM)
