After upgrading to 10.4.1 Event polling has been stopped from the OC+SRM server to SS

Issue/Introduction

After the upgrade of Spectrum from 10.2.3 to 10.4.1 the SRM Event poller stopped to work from OC+SRM server to SS.



Tried to enable it manually from the OC Administrator page -> Report Manager-> Spectrum Status-> Monitor , but the catalina.out showed the following error:
(ReportManager) - (WARN) - Domain <landscape_name> cannot be found and will not be reported on

 

Environment

Release : 10.4.1

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Cause

The catalina.out message:

(ReportManager) - (WARN) - Domain <landscape_name> cannot be found and will not be reported on

occurs if the landscape <landscape_name> is present in the reporting database (you can verify it with the mysql command "select * from landscape\G;"), but it is not present in the SpectroSERVERS landscape map.

Resolution

On the OneClick Administration -> SPECTRUM Configuration panel the Main Location Server Name was pointing to a wrong MLS server box.
Corrected the MLS servername and restarted the Spectrum Tomcat solved the problem.
