Issue/Introduction

We are planning to upgrade OPS/MVS 12.3 to one of the supported 13.x releases. My question is are we able to go from 12.3 directly to 13.5? The following article seems to suggest we would have to migrate in two steps: 12.3 to 13.0 and then 13.0 to 13.5. Here is the link to the article:

Could you please clarify?

Resolution

Customers may upgrade directly to release 13.5 from release 12.3, without need to first go to an intermediary release.  

The Migration Information section of the Release Notes is to call attention to what has changed between each release level so that information can be taken into consideration, and acted upon if required, prior to the install.
