Devices and Groups missing when running Spectrum Report Manager (SRM) Asset Reports

Environment

Release : Any

Component : Spectrum Report Manager / Jasper

Cause

Jasper integration components not updated

Resolution

The Jasper integration components should be upgraded after the following is done:

1. Installing an upgrade on the Spectrum Report Manager system

2. Installing a patch on the the Spectrum Report Manager system

3. Redeploying the reports by clicking on the Re-deploy button in the OneClick Administration -> Report Manager -> Jasper Integration page on the SRM system

To upgrade the Jasper integration components:

1. Log into the OneClick SRM pages as an ADMIN user

2. Go to the Administration -> Report Manager -> Jasper Integration page

3. Click on the blue "Integration Components" link and download a fresh copy of the spectrumConfigInstaller.jar file

4. Copy the spectrumConfigInstaller.jar file to the <CABI DIR>/java/bin directory

5. Log into the Jasper system as the root user

6. cd to the <CABI DIR>/java/bin directory and enter the following command:

java -jar spectrumConfigInstaller.jar -install

7. Answer the questions when prompted

8. Restart tomcat
