Upgrading APM 9.7 Smarstor to 10.7.

Issue/Introduction

We are in the process of upgrading our APM 9.7 to APM 10.7.  I have a question on Smartstor.

Can you just copy the apm9.7/Introscope/data directory to the new apm10.7/data directory, or do we have to run the SmartStorTools.sh command? If so, can you give me the syntax of the command please?

Release : 10.7

Resolution

You do not need to upgrade the Smartstor db from 9.7 to 10.7. You would first install the 10.7 EM and then before starting that EM, copy over the Smartstor directory to the 10.7 EM.
