SMTP email can be setup using the CACMGR Web interface Policy Administration/Configuration screen.
Resolution
Policy Statement actions are applied to an event when the event matches the condition specified in the policy statement. Examples of actions are: WTO, Email, and Service Desk tickets. The Email action specifies that an email message is sent to one or more recipients named in an ESM Monitor, PDS Monitor, or z/OS Monitor policy statements.
SMTP email can be setup using the CACMGR Web interface Policy Administration/Configuration screen.
Click the applicable Compliance Manager for z/OS instance from the Administration panel. The tree expands to show Compliance Manager for z/OS folders.
Click Policy Administration, Configuration. The Configuration window opens.
Enter "Primary Email Server:" ip address and "Primary Email Server Port:" Server Port for your SMTP email server for your system or sysplex.
