PAM : PAM-CM-0758 : Failed to synchronize password with target.

Issue/Introduction

PAM fails to synchronize password with target.

The following error is returned.

PAM-CM-0758: Failed to synchronize password with target.
If this problem persists then please ask your Administrator to investigate. 

Environment

PAM 3.3.0
Application type is Windows Remote Connector.
Target device is Windows 2016 based Domain Controller.

(*) Issue not happening with Windows Proxy application.

Cause

A product defect.
The issue occurs if backslash is present in the end of new password string.

Resolution

Issue solved with PAM 3.3.2
