Workstation Slow after Upgrade

We upgraded one of our user acceptance clusters to version - this was a fresh install, Smartstor was purged, APMDB is Oracle and was upgraded (data was not purged).


After upgrading, the following do not initially work in the Workstation but after leaving the Workstation open for a long time, they begin to work:

  1. Investigator SuperDomain - agents appear immediately but metric graphs do not show data
  2. Investigator Domains - agents do not appear under domains - they slowly start to appear starting with domains with name A, followed by B, etc.
  3. Management Module - metric graphs do not show data
  4. Console - dashboards do not appear in the list - eventually they appear but metric graphs do not show data

All other functionality appears to work without issue including WebView, Team Center, Agents, Metrics, Management Modules, alerting, etc.

Metric display in Workstation/ Webview investigator was very slow. It was taking several minutes when they have a larger number of domains. With large number of domain items in the list the lookup will becomes slow.

This issue was not present in 10.5. From 10.7 on wards we observe this issue.


Not displaying live metrics for a long period of time.

This issue can "Not displaying live metrics for a long period of time. " can be observed only when we have larger number of domains defined.
