Issue/Introduction

We eecently upgraded CA Access Gateway from 12.52 version to 12.7 version, but Apache is not upgraded from 2.2 to 2.4 with this upgrade of software.  When we query the Apache version with apachectl command, we see the following:

apachectl -v

Server version: Apache/2.2.15 (Unix)
Server built:   Feb 19 2018 06:33:11
Server's Module Magic Number: 20051115:25
Server loaded:  APR 1.3.9, APR-Util 1.3.9
Compiled using: APR 1.3.9, APR-Util 1.3.9
Architecture:   64-bit
Server MPM:     Prefork

Cause

Executing 'which apachectl' on the system revealed that the command was being executed from the Red Hat Apache installation, not the Access Gateway Apache.

Environment

Release : ALL

Component : ACCESS GATEWAY

Resolution

Running the apachectl command from the Access Gateway installation confirmed that Apache had indeed been upgraded to 2.4.x.  This can also be confirmed from the Apache error log.
