Question about 14-day extension of LMP code for SOLVE:CPT

Issue/Introduction

The following was reported:  An LMP code for SOLVE:CPT (ZD) in siteID format would expire on MAR 31.  But at the time of STOP and START

of SOLVE:CPT it showed that it expires on APR 14.

The question was:  Are these 14 days an extension of the LMP code or something else?

Environment

OS:  z/OS.

Cause

Resolution

From our Common Services Support group we learned that keys are always generated with a buffer.  So the actual expiration date is approximately 2 weeks

after what is shown on the key that is provided.
